Energy ball mania! Peanut butter brownies in a ball

Peanut butter brownie balls

This energy ball mania comes from a dear friend of mine. She has such a sweet attention that every time she comes to Paris from The Hague, she brings me a variety of raw vegan energy balls. Right, they give energy, so I focus all my energy then in eating them all at once. It takes me 10 minutes, tops ! And, I am very curious and eager to try different varieties. I guess it means that I miss both my friend and her sweet gifts…

This particular recipe is inspired from the bliss balls by Rebel Recipes. So, to make a batch of about 15 balls, here is what you need:

  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 100 grams date paste (or more if you want them sweeter)
  • 1 tablespoon raw cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons homemade peanut butter
  • coconut flakes

Place everything except the coconut flakes in a food processor and blitz until the mix becomes floury. It should also stick together between your fingers. Make balls out of the mix with your hands, and roll them in the coconut flakes.

Store in the fridge so that they remain hard.
