Kleen green hummus

I have been making hummus very often in the past few years. It’s such a tasty, healthy and filling spread, and so I have it often ready to take to the office for lunch, with some superfood bread, black rice & sesame crackers or, simply, some raw or cooked veggies.
What I have been making is a basic hummus, but I often feel like varying, so this is a kleen green version with – baby spinach!
For a full jar or a medium bowl, you will need, for the basic recipe:
- 400 grams cooked chickpeas (after draining)
- 75 ml olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- 1,5 cloves garlic
- 1 teaspooon cumin seeds (or ground cumin)
- salt and pepper to taste
- and, for the kleen green version: 2 handfuls baby spinach
Just toss everything in a food processor and blend until smooth. You may want to add one tablespoon of water to make it less firm.
I have nothing more to say.
