Energy ball mania continues! The almond butters the cocoa

And so, the energy ball mania continues. I just made this, a batch to satisfy my daily chocolate cravings, tackle my energy slumps and meet my protein needs during all next week. Adapted from Paleocrust, they are full of raw goodness!

So, for about 15 balls, you will need:

  • 45 grams cashew nuts
  • 45 grams walnuts
  • 90 grams almonds
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flour
  • 1,5 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1,5 tablespoons raw cocoa + some to sprinkle
  • 30 grams date paste (or more if you need more sweetness)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter

Mix all the ingredients in a blender and blitz until it becomes smooth. It may take several minutes. Put the mix in the freezer for some 20 minutes to harden. When you remove it, make small balls with your hands (you may need to make them stick well so be gentle), and sprinkle them with raw cocoa. You can keep them either in the fridge or the freezer.
